Putting out the flame?!
“Do not put our your fire just because someone else does not understand your flame” - not sure where I saw this but it hit home for me ... not every one understands why I chose to walk away from my finance job to work my butt off every single day as a FarmHER - little did I know when I put in my weeks notice that I wouldn’t just be the baler girl - the farm wife ... that was Gods plan later on.

But I’ve had many question what sparks this fire so deep within me .. to be honest i really am not sure myself at times. I just know I grew up being the farmers daughter who begged and pleaded with her dad and grandpa to go feed cows. To ride in the tractors. To regretting being a girl growing up because I couldn’t do the things a boy would of.

Do not ever question your why - keep pouring into it. Keep pushing for more of it - I’m so excited to leave next month for @nataliekovarik #ruralrooted retreat to really dig into not only my why - but on how to keep my flame hot - to keep sharing and AGvocating my passion of farming with others.
