It’s my opening line these days - to Vlogs & emails too!
Life of a “Hay Farmer” ... or maybe I should be a “Grass Specialist”?!? Well maybe I should just leave that title to Jason ... it’s more his thing than mine - he knows the ins and the outs to making beautiful grass 🌱🌱🌱
As I sat this morning re-listening & doing more edits on the next vlog ... I can’t imagine not doing this thing called life with him - I never dreamed that I could be doing this life... the life of a hay farmer.
It’s all Jason’s known ... he started this “business” in high school... 15 years of baling hay - from the ground up. A lot has changed in those years. Better equipment - prettier help (right?!) - top quality product. It’s not always easy.... but it’s a job we both love doing.
I’m proud to say I’m a Farmer’s Wife but with it comes it’s own set of struggles - being a FarmHER ... that is what speaks to my soul ... maybe feeds the soil too??

Spending time in the tractor is one of my happy spots .. even on hot days in the fields. It’s where I can escape too. It’s where sometimes. Even my best writing takes off ...
