Change is inevitable

Change is inevitable … growth is Optional….

Let me Repeat that for ya.

Change is inevitable - Growth is optional

CHANGE IS INEVITABLE. GROWTH IS OPTIONAL. This quote, from author John Maxwell, is one of my favorite. The world is constantly changing around us. This change is out of our control. However, we can choose to grow into the change, grow with the change. Growth occurs all around us as well: hay fields, spring flowers, our children. These growths are also inevitable.

But just as you fertilize fields, water flowers & nurture children to help them grow into something prosperous & beautiful. You have to grow yourself, push yourself to break the surface of your comfort zone. To grow, you must see the value in yourself. You must know yourself, know which values in yourself bring out the best in you, bring out the best in others. It is difficult to improve when you feel like you have no one to follow. BE THE TREND SETTER!

Growth is something I have struggled with over the last few years. I’ve come to find that growth is knowing who I am deep down. Growth is knowing the changes I’ve faced & how I adapted to come out stronger. Growth is understanding my own worth. Growth is KNOWING what I bring to the table - as a wife, as a mother, as a farmer. I’ve come to learn that unless you’re willing to get uncomfortable - you’ll probably continue to go through life without ever growing to your fullest potential. Life changes are going to happen - change is inevitable. We don’t have to make a decision for change to happen in the world.

We have to make the decision to grow ourselves to adapt to the change. Growth is optional. It only happens with our consent and when we make the decision to grow.
