Stormin through life …

We’d just wrapped up the last of the hay … I was editing away thinking about what I’d be sharing & showing the world next … God has a funny way of already knowing exactly what we need.

Many of you know we lost Scooter (Jasons old Roper) about a month ago. The circle of life was brought back around. I was NOT anywhere near prepared for Shiloh to Foal Before November 1st.

But here Storm is. Born during a true storm of life. Where I’ve felt uncertain of my mind- where we’ve weathered some hard times. Losing Scoot to finding Storm in the same round pen only a month apart. We knew breeding Shi may potentially give us Jason’s next horse (even if I don’t really want to share right now. I wanted a filly!!)

God doesn’t give us what we “want”. God gives us What WE NEED in life. We Needed another horse. We needed a replacement. I needed a shift in mindset.

I can’t wait to show you the next steps of life. Not just with Storm & Shi. But the other horses too. I miss riding. I miss waking up and watching the sunrise from the barn. I miss the squeak of my saddle. I miss the pounding hooves matching my heart beat….
