His & hers … make ours!

Jason picking up second cut hay with the Kuhns KN615 Tie Grabber

It’s a “his & hers” deal .... I’ve heard so many times “I couldn’t do what YOU do” “I’m not sure I could work with my husband” “how do you function” “are you even happy?” ...

It spurred a lot of thoughts this last week .. sharing “our story”. The one that makes my heart beat & you can pick up on my southern accent a little because I get excited to say “Well .. I love my job. Because it’s not a JOB. It’s my life. I love (most days) working along side Jas. I love teaching our kids hard work pays off. I love saying he started this from scratch in High School and we’ve just kept building it up the last several years. We’re first generation farm.” .....

Anyone can drive a 60’ spread - if you want to. If you’re willing to work, and learn how to but to also listen.

Listen and Grow.

its our story to share

And while I spent some time this morning really trying to focus on the “growth”. I’m reminded each time of where we started. Literally from the ground up. Winging it. Making it work for our lives. And so far. It’s paid off.

I left the farm. But the farm still came with me.... and I’ll go back to the farm with a whole new me. And probably a lot of the old me too. But to grow. We have to evolve. We have to keep pushing forward. Move with the times. And I’ve been stuck too long in the past ... timing is EVERYTHING in Hay. I firmly believe Gods timing has a very real purpose in our lives.

For such a time is this!

Its our story to share

Time is the key with Hay - one piece of equipment that we can’t ever have done is the Tie Grabber - our setup allows us to run smoothly & effectively every single day ...
