Farming: A Labor of Love

Farming: a Labor of Love

Farm: Noun

Is it ever truly work if you love what you do?!?!

This weekend is Labor Day Weekend. To some it’s the last of “lake life” it’s time to put the pools to winter rest - it’s an extra Monday off from work ... but in the trades world - more than likely. They’re still working.

I know as a FarmHER. I am. I truly love the Life God has placed out for me. It’s been a hard road to pave. It’s definitely not for everyone - that’s for sure.

Even this mornin. Mucking stalls. Waiting for horses to finish eating before turning them out for the day and heading to check on the cow calf pairs at the other farm.

While we may have the “day off” from Hay - we still are working. We are still tending the livestock. Still making our dreams a reality.

For those who truly love their “job” - TrueWerk is there....

I hope everyone has a very blessed Sunday & wonderful extra day off - I’ll be doing the same things I always do. Just with a grateful heart ♥️
