Sometimes life goes HAYwire… and honestly? It feels like God is gently nudging—sometimes pushing—me down a different path than the one I planned.

My website and blog have been through so many stages over the years. Versions. Revisions. Re-starts. Rebuilds. And to be completely honest? It’s been a real pain in the butt. A holy, humbling, stretching pain… but a pain nonetheless.
Finding Peace in the Process
But in the last few weeks, something shifted. God quieted my spirit enough to sit down—early mornings, coffee in hand, the house still and peaceful—and truly pour my heart back into this space.
Words came like a slow-rolling sunrise. Thoughts I’ve tucked away. Tears I didn’t expect. Stories I didn’t know I was ready to tell.
And somewhere in those moments… I found peace again. Peace in journaling. Peace in writing. Peace in sharing. Peace in the becoming.

This season of rebuilding is more than a blog refresh. It’s preparation. It’s obedience. It’s me stepping into what God is stirring for 2026…
And yes—there’s a sneak peek coming soon. A new look. A new rhythm. A new chapter for Chronicles of Kayla.
But first… here’s a tiny glimpse from the upcoming devotional + audio series tied to Dirt Road Anthem 2026:
Devotional Sneak Peek: God does some of His best work on the dirt roads of our lives—those quiet, unpaved places where the world can’t see but heaven is paying close attention. Out here, where the dust settles slow and the pace forces you to breathe, He clears a path for the heart to soften, to listen, to trust. Because even when the road feels forgotten… God never loses track of our steps.
Audio — Dirt Road Anthem (2026) Preview: Take a deep breath and imagine that familiar gravel crunch… the sound your soul recognizes before your mind catches up. This isn’t just a road—it’s a reminder. A holy place where God meets you in the middle of your mess, your miracles, and your everyday moments. Welcome back to the dirt road… where faith grows wild and hope runs free.

So yeah… things might be going HAYwire. But maybe—just maybe—God is just re-stacking the bales, rearranging the barn, and preparing the field for something bigger.
And I’m finally ready to share it with you. Stay tuned, friend.
