Repeat. Every. Single. Day.

Are you just “livin life” or are you actually LIVING LIFE?!? I’m not exactly sure when it happened but somewhere along the last few years I’ve let myself get stuck in this “surviving mode” of livin’ life. I wake up. I do what needs done. I crawl into bed.

Repeat. Every. Single. Day.

Last year I was sick – sicker than I realized and led on to be. In October when “life” of a hay farmer – slowed down. I saw my doctor. I explained my constant struggle, pain and overall issues I thought was just “normal” for me. It wasn’t. It’s NOT normal. We did tests. And. More tests. I was scheduled for surgery and treatment.

In January I honestly thought I was going to die at one point of how sick I’d become. I realized right then that God was giving me another chance at Life. I started slowly putting myself first. Making my health a top priority. Because if I’m not here, who will do it?! Who will raise the kids?! Who will be Jason’s partner?

It was not something we broadcasted to the world about. Me being “sickly”. I went through treatment. I survived. I’m a statistic that beat the odds. And I’ll be honest. It re awoke something inside me.

As “35” quickly approaches I’m reminded just how far I’ve come. How much I’ve learned the last decade but of how things “change” as we get older. They say growth is scary … but so is change. You can’t go back & change the past. But you can always make a fresh start every sunrise.

So. I encourage you this morning {just as I am!} to make the best day of it. To do something solely for yourself that will light the fire and spark to be the best of you. We are only given one life 🫶🏼
