Every year I think “I’ll be on top of it this year”. 

Order. Wrote. Stamped. Mailed. Delivered. All by December.

Then December gets here and I say the same thing “I’ll get them done by Christmas Eve” and another few weeks pass by and I’m struggling to even get my Christmas SHOPPING done let alone wrapped by the 23rd!!! 

Good. Bad. Emotional. Physically demanding. Growth. Boundaries. Change. Life Lessons. Hope. Setbacks. Pivoting. 

As I find myself writing another set of “thank yous” instead of sending out the merry Christmas cards I’d envisioned. Im once again reminded of the blessings we have. We have a roof over our head, clothes on our back, food in our bellies, heated seats not only in the new truck but those MF tractors I’ve come to love. My kiddo is battling the hardest battle he’s been given in his 14 years – – and kicking Cancers Ass in His own way. 

Our lives aren’t picture perfect social media posts & I am thankful for that. I am thankful for so much in 2024. The lessons. The hardships. The smiles. The messages. The life we’ve been given. 

This holiday season, I urge you to take a few moments to simply sit & be thankful for all the blessings and don’t get so caught up in the “perfect picture” of life that comes across your social feeds.

What’s New?!

Our prayers continue to be heard &  answered by the Almighty. Today we were admitted for Round 3 ( 6 total) Cycles of Chemotherapy with Keaton. Last week he went through a Brain & Spinal MRI.  In the mass chaos of going through this during round 1 Keaton & I had saw the scans of his brain with the tumor. At the time. Neither him or I truly understood just the size of it. Today we were given the results of last Fridays MRI. The tumor that was found 10.30.24 & started this whole journey, was the size of a grapefruit. Today after only 2 rounds. The tumor has SHRANK in half its size!!!!!! He will continue to battle this & have one hell of a story later.
