🤠 The “Unhinged” Version (because… let’s be honest……
HayHey – I’m Kayla — professionally held together by caffeine, faith, and a little baling twine.
I run cows, kids, and a content brand… not always in that order.
If you see me crying in a tractor, mind your business — it’s either diesel fumes or character development.
Married a hay farmer, became a hay farmer… now I measure time in windrows and weather apps instead of hours and minutes.
CEO of “it’ll be fine” and “we’ll figure it out,”
part-time mechanic, full-time snack finder,
and emotionally attached to equipment that absolutely will break at the worst possible time.
Living somewhere between grit & grace,
with a side of “Lord, take the wheel… but maybe not this tractor.”
If you’re here for perfect — you’re lost.
If you’re here for real life, real faith, and dirt under your nails… welcome to the chaos.

🤍 The Real Version (the heart behind it all)
Hi, I’m Kayla.
Wife to Jason, mom to Keaton and Jaelyn, and the voice behind Chronicles of Kayla.
Around here, life is built on three things: faith, family, and farming.
Our days are early mornings, late nights, and everything in between — feeding cattle, checking calves, chasing weather windows, and finding purpose in the work God placed in front of us. It’s not always pretty. It’s not always easy. But it’s real… and it’s ours.
Over the past year, life has asked more of us than we ever expected. We’ve walked through heartbreak, loss, and moments that have tested our faith in ways words can’t fully explain. And yet, even in the hardest seasons, we’ve found that God shows up — in the quiet, in the chaos, and in the everyday work of just putting one foot in front of the other.
This space started as a way to share farm life… but it’s grown into something more.
It’s a place for stories that aren’t always easy to tell.
A place where grit meets grace.
A place to remind you (and me) that you’re not alone on whatever dirt road you’re walking.
You’ll find a little bit of everything here —
hay season chaos, cattle chores, and behind-the-scenes farm life…
paired with faith, encouragement, and honest conversations about life’s hardest moments.
Because the truth is —
life doesn’t stop when things get hard.
The chores still need done. The sun still rises. And somehow, we learn to keep going.
So whether you’re here for the farming, the faith, or just trying to make it through your own season… I’m really glad you’re here.
Welcome to Chronicles of Kayla.
Held together by grace… and a little baling twine.
📖 Scripture to Share
Galatians 6:9
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
🙏🏼 Closing Prayer
Lord,
Thank You for every person who finds their way here.
For the roads they’ve walked, the burdens they carry, and the strength they don’t always see in themselves.
Meet them right where they are — in the messy, the uncertain, and the in-between.
Remind us that even when life feels heavy, You are steady.
Give us the courage to keep going, the grace to rest when we need it, and the faith to trust what we cannot yet see.
And in all things — let our lives reflect Your goodness.
Amen.
