We are SO excited to share one of the best upgrades we’ve made to our operation this year – cattle cams in the barn!

If you’ve ever been through calving season, you know it’s like having a barn full of newborns, except nobody is on the same schedule. The constant trips to the barn, checking on mamas who might be close, making sure new babies are nursing, and keeping an eye on everyone – it’s exhausting and never-ending.

Now, instead of bundling up at 2 AM to walk out to the barn (again), I can check on our mamas, babies, and soon-to-be mamas from the comfort of our home. From the kitchen table. From the couch. Even in the middle of the night without leaving my bed.

The peace of mind these cameras give us is priceless. I can see if a cow is showing signs of labor, if a calf has been born and is up and nursing, or if someone needs help – all without disturbing the herd or making unnecessary trips in the cold.
